The Association, or their agent or any person claiming through is committed to protect user privacy, we take data protection and privacy very seriously. This Privacy Policy describes how the app collects, uses, shares and secures the personal information provided when the user visit the Websites and Mobile App.
Automatically Collected Information
The Application may collect certain information automatically, including, but not limited to, the type of mobile device you use, your mobile device's unique deviceID, the IP address of your mobile device, your mobile operating system and the type of mobile Internet browsers you use. When you visit the mobile application, we may use GPS technology (or other similar technology) to determine your current location in order to determine the city you are located within and display a location map. We will not share your current location with other users or partners. If you do not want us to use your location for the purposes set forth above, you should turn off the location services for the mobile application located in your account settings or in your mobile phone settings and/or within the mobile application. We may disclose User provided and Automatically Collected Information to the extent that such disclosure or use is reasonably necessary to the performance of the work.
Information Collected by the Application
The Application collects and stores the data submitted by users which includes user name, address, email id, mobile number, date of birth etc. As we allow users to request data from educational institutions listed, we share the data to respective institutes to fulfill the request and the privacy of such kind of data is under the mutual agreement between institutes and users. Login/Signup- By creating a user account visitor agrees the terms of conditions of the app. By this we better understand how visitors interact with our Services and ensure that our Services are presented in the most effective manner for the users. User also agrees to receive SMS and Emails about the updates and information of new programs and services, upcoming events or other promotions or news.
SECURITY
The Association, or their agent or any person claiming through shall not disclose to any third party the Client database(the “Confidential Information”) except to the extent that such disclosure or use is reasonably necessary to the performance of the work, (ii) make copies of any Confidential Information or any content based on the concepts contained within the Confidential Information for personal use or for distribution unless requested to do so by the Client, or (iii) use Confidential Information other than solely for the benefit of the Client. For violation of any of the above provisions, the Association, or their agent or any person claiming through will solely liable, responsible and have to face all the legal consequences.
